Juve: Higuain out of action, but Dybala’s injury report brings good news

We’ve just reported that Gonzalo Higuain’s been ruled out for the incoming Champions League to Sevilla. The Argentinean striker picked up an injury at his thigh last Saturday and won’t be eligible to play tomorrow’s key European game against the LaLiga side.

The former Napoli striker is set to be replaced by Mario Manduzkic in a 4-3-3 system with Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado on the wings. Higuain’s striker partner Paulo Dybala is also out of action due to a muscle injury that he had picked up earlier this month.

La Joya was supposed to return after the international break and, in fact, he could make Juventus squad next week-end when the Old Lady travels to Genoa’s Marassi stadium to face Genoa.

Meantime, Massimiliano Allegri will have to do without his € 130 million attacking duo in the most important game of the season so far. If Juventus manage a win in Spain tomorrow, they’d be very likely to qualify as group winners, in case of defeat they would need to play and possibly win the last game against Dynamo Zagreb to make it through the group stage.
