Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres looked really close to Juventus but Sevilla are now asking for more money to complete the deal.

Juventus have been after the player, who has already worn the Bianconeri shirt in the past, and the Spanish outfit looked open to negotiation. However, Director Reyes Monchi made it clear that Juve’s offer is not good enough.

“Their offer is way below our expectations,” claimed Monchi. “Unless they significantly improve it, Caceres will stay with us.”

Sevilla though have some financial issues to solve and may need to sell several players in the current transfer window as admitted by their director: “We need to sell in order to sort out our books”.
