Juve on Kovacic, the enchanter of Paritici

If ever a player has bewitched Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici then it’s Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic. Twice the bianconeri have considered a move for him and twice the opportunity has escaped them.

    DEAL IMMINENT
Now it could be third-time lucky as Florentino Perez and Beppe Marotta meet to discuss the imminent future of Alvaro Morata. Also present is Beppe Bozzo, an intermediary for just such occasions who had a key role in Morata’s move to Turin and Kovacic’s switch from Dinamo Zagred to Inter and then his move to Real.  €25 million is the price that Los Blancos have placed on the 22-year-old, a price that would certainly fall into the plans of Marotta and Paratici. The Merengues have not closed the door to the idea of the loan with an option to repurchase; the same as they did with Morata.

    PLAYER APPROVAL
Kovacic has already made it known that a move to Juve is absolutely welcome, although he wants to postpone any decision until after Euro 2016. The players agent Vuksan, so long used to saying “No comment” regarding his clients future has not denied this speculation and now looks to be the right time for the Croat to prove that he can be a big player at a big club. He is the man who was initially wanted by Allegri before he had to settle for Hernanes. Turin beckons for Mateo Kovacic.
