Juventus are looking for a world class striker to strengthen their attacking package. So far Mirko Vucinic has failed to live up to expectations in Turin having scored only three goals in 19 games.

The first name on the Bianconeri wish-list is Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine ace is struggling to become a regular at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With the Merengues, Higuain has scored 84 goals in 149 appearances. And Juventus are almost certain he is the man who can solve all their attacking problems...

Liverpool on Benatia

Liverpool are planning a bid for Udinese defender Mahdi Benatia. The Moroccan international has also been linked to Manchester United and Chelsea.

Benatia has a contract until 2014 with the Bianconeri and will be available for a fee of around €15M.

Milan & PSG: Xavi not for sale

The Xavi-saga is already over as expected by Calciomercato.com. The Spanish midfielder had been linked to Milan and Paris Saint-Germain by AS.

“Xavi will not leave Barcelona, he is happy and has a contract until 2014,” explained the player’s agent, Ivan Corretja.

No chance for Milan and PSG considering that Xavi may even decide to end his career at the Camp Nou.

No Hummels for Juve: The 23-year-old defender claimed he has no intention of leaving Borussia at the end of the current season despite links to Juventus and Real Madrid. “I am really happy here and I owe it to this club which has always believed in him,” the player told Bild.

Roma-Tadic: The Giallorossi are looking to sign Dusan Tadic from Groningen but according to Calciomercato.it, Liverpool are also interested in the Serbian midfielder.

M’Gladbach on Ziegler: The German outfit is looking to strengthen its squad on the back of an impressive campaign. Borussia M’Gladbach failed to sign Reus, who will join Borussia Dortmund, and are now looking to sign Reto Ziegler from Juventus. The Swiss player is currently on loan in Turkey.
