Juventus after AC Milan defender

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly still interested in signing Alessio Romagnoli from rivals AC Milan.

Romagnoli, currently 22, has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A based club this season and has scored a goal as well. While he has impressed, he is still to establish himself completely with Leonardo Bonucci already a first-choice.

While Milan aren’t willing to sell the Italian, their inability to qualify for the Champions is likely to increase Juve’s hopes of signing him and are following him with much attention.

Offers from the Turin based side have been pegged back by the rossoneri this past summer and they were big offers as well. Juventus are aware of Milan’s stance on Romagnoli and while they aren’t giving up on the chase, they are looking at other options as well.

The central defender joined Milan back in 2015 from Roma for a fee of 25 million euros and has made 82 appearances in all competitions since joining.
