Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier rejected a Chelsea move this past summer, as Juventus are said to be tracking him.

The 26-year-old Belgian, who joined Paris Saint-Germain from Club Brugge last season, has made only seven league appearances this season and the arrival of Dani Alves from Juventus has made him a proper second-choice at the club.

Meunier recently admitted in an interview that he nearly signed for Chelsea this past summer, saying that: "I could have joined Chelsea on the last day of the transfer market. But I did not want to do it, I'm OK with PSG."

He also said: " I was aware that they would buy another right back, but I never imagined it would be Dani Alves. I did not know what to think, would I have stayed on the bench all the time?”

Juventus see Meunier as a long-term heir to Stephan Lichtsteiner and have watched him a lot of times this season. While the Old Lady are leading the race to sign the right-back, but Manchester United and Jose Mourinho have also been reportedly interested in signing Meunier.
