    Juventus challenge Manchester City in race for Sanchez

    Juventus are to challenge Manchester City to secure the services of Arsenal play-maker Alexis Sanchez. The 27-year-old has been in inspirational form this season and produced a man of the match performance on Saturday as his side disposed of Chelsea 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Only last week, the Sunday Express declared that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was anxious to add the Chilean to his expensive roster of players but now the Serie A champions have also been linked with a possible move for the player who's contract expires in North London in 2018.

    The Old Lady have been searching all summer for a player who can unlock defences and after failing to land both Axel Witsel of Zenit St Petersburg and Blaise Matuidi from Paris Saint-Germain, coach Massimo Allegri is desperate to make new additions in January and should the chase for the two players already mentioned prove to be unfruitful, then the Arsenal man will become top of their radar.
