Juventus closing in on double swoop before making a move for Liverpool target

It looks like being another busy week at Juventus as the Serie A champions look to strengthen ahead of the new campaign. With Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick’s arrival in Turin imminent, CEO Beppe Marotta will now look to close the deal with Arsenal for goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for a fee believed to be €15M with the Polish international getting a four-and-a-half year deal with the club.

Next on the list is Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi who is believed to have already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract worth €3.5M net per season. The Old Lady will now look to close out the deal with his current employers for a fee of between €30-40M.

According to Tuttosport, the spending won’t stop there either with Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes understood to be another name at the top of the shopping list. The 22-year-old Argentine has been on the radar at Liverpool for some time but these latest reports suggest that the Italian giants have the edge over the Merseyside club and are anxious to push negotiations forward.
