Juventus, Dybala explains goal celebration

Juventus star Paulo Dybala talked to Rai Sport to share his thoughts on the current campaign of the bianconeri as well as on the rest of his career. La Joya is wearing the no. 10 shirt this season, a choice that the club has taken for him.

“I never asked the no. 10 shirt, Dybala said. I had an important number already. They asked me to wear the no.10 shirt and I did to represent the club and the fans. I had to think about it for two days, then I accepted. I know this number represents the history of Juventus.”

“Icardi? We are on very good terms, we knew each other when I was playing for Palermo and I think I am lucky to play with him. He is an amazing footballer and I think it’s going to be a tough challenge with him this season. He has more chances than me to become the best scorer in Serie A as he is a centre forward.”

“My goal celebration? I decided to do it last season, after the Supercup final (lost by Juve against AC Milan). Those were the worst holidays of my career, that’s when I decided to ‘wear the mask’ when I score. It represents a warrior. One has to fail in order to succeed. That’s what it means.”
