Despite having signed a contract extension with AC Milan last January, Giacomo Bonaventura's relationship with the Rossoneri is at an all-time low. Especially with coach Vincenzo Montella who seems unable to find the ideal solution for the former Atalanta player, born in 1989, despite trying several different line-ups.

Meanwhile, Juventus rate Bonaventura very highly and have been looking at him for quite some time as a potential player to bring in to the club. Bonaventura is very highly rated by the Bianconeri due to his high quality as well as his flexibility in being bale to play in several positions. The Bianconeri's interest in Bonoaventura is not new, as underlined when Juventus have met with his agent, Mino Raiola, through the years.

If the relationship between Bonaventura and Milan were to deteriorate any further or a mutual decision to part ways was to be made, Juventus are in pole position to snap the Italian international up, keeping in line with the Bianconeri's strategy of observing and pouncing when the time is right.
