Juventus, Marchisio claims he’s close to comeback after lengthy lay-off
Marchisio spoke to media during the film premier of Bianconeri. Juventus Story, which is a movie about the story of the club.
The Italy International returned to train with the rest of the team last week and told journalists attending the event (including our reporter Nicola Balice) that his return to the pitch is really close now.
“I am happy”, Marchisio said.
“I was missing the emotions of working alongisde my teammates.”
“I needed to return to action, I needed to return into the dressing room to work with all of them. My road to recovery is almost complete.”
Marchisio picked up a knee injury last April during a Serie A clash between Juventus and Palermo. The 29-year-old midfielder had to skill EURO 2016 due to the injury and will probably return to action after the incoming international break.
