Juventus, Marotta: ‘Morata wants to stay’

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta released an interview to Mediaset Premium ahead of bianconeri Serie A clash against Carpi.

“We want to keep this group for as much time as possible. They all deserve praise and credit for what they’ve done this season.”

Morata’s future does not depend on us. We want to keep him and we’ll meet Real Madrid very soon. His destiny is linked to Real Madrid’s. They are still in race to win two trophies this season.”

“Morata has imposed himself here, in Madrid he was a bit player. He wants to stay here and we’ll try to push on this during negotiations, but they could convince him to move back there.”

“It is not easy to improve this team, we don’t have priorities, we’re only analyzing what happens in the market.”

“Evra is happy to stay here, we are on very good terms with him. His stay does not depend on us, but on some family issues. We’ll talk about that in the next few weeks, but we respect him as a great pro and a true leader.”

“Personal choices must always be respected, like we did last year with Tevez.”
