Milan: Taiwo wants Benfica. Juventus: good bye Higuain! Roma: Zeman the new coach?

As reported yesterday, to obtain 23 year old midfielder Axel Witsel, AC Milan are ready to offer to Benfica Nigerian left back Taye Taiwo, last season on loan at QPR. The 27 year old has declared today that the Portuguese club would be an agreable destination. Also two young players could definetely leave the rossoneri: 22 year old midfielder Rodney Strasser, last season on loan at Lecce, and 22 year old striker Alberto Paloschi, coming back from Chievo, both required by Torino. Regarding the new signings, for Manchester United winger Nani, Milan will also have to compete with Russian giants Anzhi Makhachkala.

According to the British medias, 28 year old striker Robin Van Persie, considered a Juventus target, has absolutely no intention to extend his contract with Arsenal, no matter how much the Gunners will offer him: the Dutch national wants in fact to play in a more competitive team. Regarding the other strikers tracked by the bianconeri, Internacional de Porto Alegre 22 year old Leandro Damiao has also become a Tottenham target, while 24 year old Gonzalo Higuain has declared that  he wants to remain at Real Madrid. Regarding the midfield, the agent of Gennaro Gattuso has declared that his client would prefer to move abroad rather than a transfer to Juve, while Bologna Sports Director Roberto Zanzi has expressed his will to keep 20 year old Saphir Taider, in co-ownership between the two clubs.

65 year old coach Zdenek Zeman, who has just leaded Pescara to the promotion to the Serie A, seems about to find an agreement with AS Rome, although his actual club's president Daniele Sebastiani is trying to convince him to stay. The Czech coach seems anyway to have overtaken Andre Villas-Boas and Vincenzo Montella in Roma's whishlist for their bench.
