Juventus, Patrice Evra compares himself to a bottle of wine
“I see myself as a good bottle of wine. The older I get, the I improve. I am still competitive and I want to play until my legs allow me to do so.”
“When I’ll notice that my level is going down, then I’ll retire.”
“I am honest with myself, I am still having fun and I love training, I am playing each game as it was my last one.”
Evra, a former Manchester United left-back, joined Juventus as a free agent in summer 2014 and has registered seven assists and three goals in 75 appearances with the Serie A giants.
The 35-year-old defender won one Champions League, one Clubs’ World Cup and 12 English domestic titles with the Red Devils as well as two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and one Italian Super Cup.
