Juventus step up chase for Federico Bernardeschi

Juventus are going to make an opening bid to sign Federico Bernardeschi next week, our reporter Nicola Balice has exclusively learned.  The Italian star has become Juventus’ summer transfer priority as the Serie A giants have put talks for Douglas Costa on hold and an offer exceeding € 40 million will be submitted in the coming hours.

Bernardeschi, 23, is also being linked with moves to Barcelona and Chelsea but neither clubs have concretely shown their interest so far.

Juventus, on the other hand, have already reached an agreement with the player’s agent and need to reach an agreement with Fiorentina if they want to secure the services of the talented attacking midfielder.

Although Fiorentina’s asking price is € 50 million, Juventus hope their rivals will lower their economic demands.

A meeting or a conference cal between the two clubs should occur in the coming hours with Juventus ready to make their opening bid for one of their summer transfer priorities.
