Juventus summer transfer targets revealed: all the names on the Old Lady’s agenda

Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are working to bring at least six new players at the J Stadium next season. Massimiliano Allegri put pen to paper on a contract extension with the Serie A giants yesterday and expects the club to hire the right reinforcements in order to try to win the Champions League.

The future of Alvaro Morata and Paul Pogba could change a lot Juventus’ summer transfer strategies, but if the Spanish might return to Madrid at the end of the season, there is a good chance to see the Frenchman wearing the black-and-white shirt next season too.

CM.com’s Emanuele Tramancere has highlighted and divided per role the 12 players on Juventus’ radars, revealing who has the most chances to move to Turin in the summer.

RIGHT-BACK – With Juan Cuadrado set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season, Juventus are looking for a potential heir of Stefan Lichtsteiner: Sassuolo’s Sime Vrsaljko is the club’s priority, though the Croatian right-back is also chased by Atletico Madrid. Udinese's Silvain Widmer has been monitored too.

CENTRE-BACK – AS Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has confirmed Mehdi Benatia is offering his services pretty much everywhere around Europe. The giallorossi and the Old Lady are in pole position to sign him, though Juventus are also interested in former Sampdoria centre-back Shkodran Mustafi.

CENTRE-MIDFIELDER - Valencia’s Andre Gomes is the top priority in this part of the pitch. Juventus have already entered transfer talks to sign the Portuguese star who could arrive to the J Stadium for € 25 million plus bonuses, though the LaLiga have asked € 35 million to allow the player’s departure. That’s why Fernando (Sampdoria) and, surprisingly, Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid) are two more names written on Giuseppe Marotta’s agenda.

OFFENSIVE MIDFIELDER – The famous ‘trequartista’ Allegri has been asking since last summer. Oscar could leave Chelsea at the end of the season, Riccardo Saponara was ‘booked’ by the Old Lady in January and would move to the J Stadium if the Brazilian International would decide to go somewhere different from Turin.

WINGER – Domenico Berardi will be the first signing of the 2016-17 campaign. Juventus will acquire the Italian starlet for a fee of € 25 million, but if the Serie A side will change their mind in the summer, they’d pounce on Man City wantaway Samir Nasri.

STRIKER – Big money will be spent for big names here. No reason to add that Cavani is everyone’s cup of tea at the J Stadium, but PSG don’t want to sell the Uruguay International. Romelu Lukaku is also a top-class striker who would be a more than decent replacement of Morata and the Belgium International could be even easier to sign than Cavani, given the identity of his agent: a certain Mino Raiola. Antonio Conte, however, is also interested in bringing the 22-year-old strker back to the Stamford Bridge.
