Juventus target Gabigol denies new contract signing with Santos
The Brazilian club announced the player’s contract extension until 2021 last week , but the player has just denied that he has signed a new contract with the Brazilian club.
“The contract renewal with Santos is not a done deal yet. We are negotiating there a few things to be fixed and I am going to talk about that with my father and my agent. I have received some offers, but there’s nothing concrete yet.”
Juventus are ready to offer € 18 million (bonus included), even if Santos rejected a similar offer by Borussia Dortmund last month.
Gabigol has four goals in nine appearances with Santos this term and has received a call-up to Brazil national team for Rio 2016.
Juventus are looking to sign a replacement of Alvaro Morata and with Simone Zaza who could also leave the J Stadium in the current transfer window, Juventus urge to sign at least one new striker in order to be ready for the next campaign.
