Juventus are meeting Fiorentina chiefs to try to finalise a deal for Italian international Federico Bernardeschi. Calciomercato.com’s Nicola Balice writes that the Bianconeri are anxious to get business done by Thursday and add the 23-year-old frontman to their squad.

The next meeting is due to start in the next few hours and will include intermediary Beppe Bozzo, who is seen as key in trying to get the deal pushed through. Juventus are anxious to offer La Viola a cash plus player deal which could involve names such as Tomas Rincon, Marko Pjaca or Stefano Sturaro; Fiorentina however, are only believed to be interested in a cash-only arrangement with Juventus paying then €40M for their star player plus a bonus of around €10M.

At the moment, the two parties are around €5M short in their negotiations but Balice understands that this obstacle can be overcome. Having signed Douglas Costa and with Szczesny set to complete his move later today, Juve are keen to welcome Bernardeschi before the end of the week.
