Klopp gives hilarious response to question about Alisson price-tag

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was delighted by the Reds’ win and performance against Napoli last night. The Premier League giants sealed a 1-0 win that helped them to qualify for the last -16 stage of the Champions League. Former Roma star Alisson claimed the spotlight with an amazing save on Milik in the final minutes of the game: “It wasn’t only one save", Klopp said last night.

"He had a lot of things to do tonight. How cool, how calm he was with the ball and that helped us in the build-up situations. When he came out for crosses he was outstanding. That save was incredible but I really liked the whole team. How the boys were together. If we don’t defend the whole pitch like we did today, Alisson couldn’t do 20 saves like the one he did today”.

“He did it and that’s incredible, unbelievable, never seen something like that, really. But still, he needs the other boys around”.

“We spent € 72 million to sign him from Roma but if I knew he was so strong I’d have paid twice as much”.
