Koulibaly suspension: Napoli appeal rejected

Napoli’s appeal against the suspension of Kalidou Koulibaly has been rejected by the FIGC. The Senegalese defender was suspended for two games after that he was sent off during Inter-Napoli for clapping the referee.

Koulibaly and Napoli had previously asked the referee Mazzoleni to suspend the game due to racist abuses of Inter fans.

The Partenopei made an appeal against the two-match ban but the appeal was rejected and Koulibaly is now going to skip the next game against Lazio after missing the last game of 2018 played against Bologna.
