Mundo Deportivo are reporting that if Liverpool’s Phillippe Coutinho and Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe moved out Paris Saint-Germain, it would open the door for the Ligue 1 runners-up to sell Marco Verratti to Barcelona this summer window.
The Italian midfielder has been linked with a move to the La Liga giants for several weeks now, with the Catalan club believing that the player would be a perfect suit to the side.

However the former French champions have been adamant that they are unwilling to sell their star man, with the 24-year-old still considered a major force for the side.
There were also reports that the former Serie A player had been trying to force a move away to Spain, and that he had grown unsettled with life in France, and wanting to explore other options at this point in his career – with Barca as the player’s number one choice.
