Latest: Man City lead Chelsea, PSG, Man Utd in chase for Arsenal star

Manchester City have taken the lead in the race for Alexis Sanchez, today’s edition of the Sun claims.

The report indicates that the 29-year-old could leave the Emirates for around €60 million.

The idea is that the Chilean star’s past at Barcelona is a help, seeing as he was Coached by Pep Guardiola for the 2011-2012 season, at least until the Spaniard left the following summer.

This news comes in the wake of reports indicating that PSG were ready (via Le10Sport) to make an offer in the region of €60/ €65 million.

Manchester united have also been linked with the former Udinese man, who has scored 18 Premier League goals this season. Jose Mourinho is alleged by Chilean TV show “El Show de Prensafutbol” to have actually called the Tocopilla native.

Recent reports indicated that Sanchez has set some conditions to the Gunners, asking that they build a competitive roster if he is to stay.
