Latest Milan transfer news ahead of Monday’s deadline

Adriano Galliani told journalists that Milan are not going to buy or sell any of their players in the remaining hours of  January window.

Reality is that the Rossoneri could seal a couple of deals before Monday’s deadline.

WHO’S LEAVING – The news  of the day is that Nigel de Jong’s agent held a meeting with Milan’s CEO in Milanello on Saturday evening to negotiate his client’s exit. As previously reported, de Jong is close to joining MLS side LA Galaxy, allowing his current club to save his € 3.5 million salary.

Antonio Nocerino is another Milan outcast who’s rumored to be edging closer to MLS. In the last few hours Orlando City and New York Red Bulls have joined DC United in the race to sign the former Parma midfielder. La Liga side Getafe are also interested in welcoming his services.

WHO’S ARRIVING – Milan need to sign at least one midfielder, but there is only little chance of seeing Ajax’s Enwar El Ghazi wearing the Rossoneri shirt from February.

Tino Sven Susic has been proposed to Milan by the player’s agent. Though Adriano Galliani is still not 100% convinced by the player’s qualities, his affordable price tag (€4-5 million) could tempt Milan’s CEO to make a last-minute to sign the Hajduk Split’s midfielder.

As far as Diego Perotti is concerned, Roma are leading the way to sign the Argentinean winger, but should the Giallorossi drop the 27-year-old, a former Sevilla player, it shouldn’t be difficult for Milan and Genoa to find economic agreement for Perotti’s transfer.
