Lazio, deal close with Partizan Belgrade for starlet defender

Lazio are close to making another defensive signing. According to Sky Sports, the Biancocelesti have reached an agreement with Partizan Belgrade for their 18-year-old defender Strahinja Pavlovic. The player will be purchased outright for €5.5m and then will return to Partizan Belgrade on loan for a year to further his development. Pavlovic has already featured for the club this season, playing every available minute in both the Super Liga Srbije and the Europa League qualifying rounds.
