This morning’s Corriere dello Sport suggests that Lazio are preparing a January assault on the Eredivisie to try to land French striker Sebastien Haller.The journal claims that the biancocelesti are ready to table a bid of around €8 million for the 22-year-old Utrecht frontman who has already scored five goals in the first quarter of the new campaign. 
 

Nurtured in the famed youth academy at Auxerre, Haller has been in Holland since 2014, when he joined his current employer’s on-loan. That move was made permanent the following season and his goalscoring record at the club is phenomenal; having netted 33 times in just 58 appearances. His eye for goal has also been recognised at international level where he is a regular fixture in the French Under-21 side and where he has scored 10 times in 18 appearances.

Lazio are believed to be looking for a partner for in-form striker Ciro Immobile; Haller could be the player they turn to.
