Leicester City overtake Inter, Juve for the signing of Gabigol, but the player has the last word
Inter have reached agreement with all parties involved in the deal. The nerazzurri are ready to pay Gabigol’s € 18 million buy-out clause and also the player’s family and Doyen Investment that owns the 40% of the player’s economic rights.
The total cost of the Gabigol-operation would be somewhere around € 25 million, but it has emerged that Leicester City have offered € 27 million, overtaking the nerazzurri for the signing of the 19-year-old promise.
Gabigol’s will take a final decision over his future at the end of Rio 2016. At the moment Inter and Leicester City have made the best offers, but, under such circumstances, a bid from a new suitor could be also in the cards.
