Claudio Ranieri will not be the man who replaces Antoinio Conte as Italy national team boss as he closes in on a contract renewal at champions Leicester City. The clubs vice-president, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanapranha, stated that; "We will sit down with him at the end of the year to discuss the long-term project". The patron also stated that his club were going to fight to keep hold of their big stars Kante, Vardy and Mahrez declaring that; "We will do everything possible to maintain the same group of players and add a little bit of quality".
