Leonardo on AC Milan's Europa League exit: 'An unjust elimination'

AC Milan lost 1-3 against Olympiacos yesterday away from home and thus failed to qualify to the next round of the Europa League at the expense of the Greek team. Technical director Leonardo spoke to Sky after the match and reflected on the match.

"We are out of the Europa League for a series of mistakes of the referee. The penalty was non-existent. Moreover, their first goal came from an irregular corner kick. VAR is needed. Every time we attacked, there was an incredible noise to disturb us, it is against regulation, it is an unjust elimination," Leonardo said.
