Robert Lewandowski’s future could be far from Munich. The Polish striker’s agent Cezary Kucharski told Der Spiegel that Real Madrid have made an approach for his client.

“Real Madrid contacted us a couple of weeks ago, we listened to everything they told us. They are a great club and we’ve informed Bayern Munich about our talks with Real Madird.”

Scorer of 30 goals in 32 Bundesliga games this season and under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2019, Lewandowski has added: “Contracts are not sacred relics, like it or not, that’s the truth. Motivations are important too.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to offer the Poland International a six-year-deal and a salary up to € 25 million a year.
