Liverpool boss staggered by £200m Neymar transfer talk & speaks on Coutinho move
Via the Daily Express, the German Reds boss was talking to press ahead of a friendly match for Liverpool.
"If Neymar is not a rumour then pffff [sic] it's more than the next level, it's really not from this planet anymore,” he said.
"Really? 222million Euros? (£199m). I can't believe that something like this would happen. But if it does happen then it changes everything actually."
If the transfer was to pulled off – making it the most expensive in the history of football – it would open the door for Barcelona to have the funds to make a play for Liverpool star Phillippe Coutinho. But the manager insisting, "Everything I say comes back from the owners.
"Yes, I would say (he doesn't have a price). It's very clear. He's not for sale. What else can I say?"
"There are so many rumours around. Only one of them is the Coutinho rumour.”
