Liverpool demand two Barcelona players in exchange for Coutinho

Liverpool have added a twist to the saga involving Phillipe Coutinho’s move to Barcelona, as they are requesting that in exchange for the Brazil international they want both midfielders Rafinha and Andre Gomes – plus also a huge fee from the La Liga giants.

According to Spanish publication Don Balon via futsoccer, the Reds had already rejected a sizeable £72m bid from the Catalan club, with it thought that they are requesting a much higher sum as well as two Barca players.
Barcelona desperately want one of their main targets, with the 25-year-old believed to be pinpointed as a player they could use to replace Andres Iniesta.

And despite the Merseyside club so far insisting that their star attacker is not for sale, it looks as if it’s all about to change, and a switch could be imminent if the Spanish side are willing to accept Liverpool’s new demands.
