Liverpool face Carabao Cup exclusion

The EFL is current investigating Premier League side Liverpool regarding their supposed fielding of an ineligible player in their Carabao Cup game against MK Dons on Wednesday.

Pedro Chirivella came on as a substitute in the second half but does not have the required international clearing and, therefore, the football league are investigating, with the Reds at risk of expulsion from the tournament.
