Liverpool is prepared to sell Philippe Coutinho this coming winter. According to the British newspaper 'Mirror' , the owners of Liverpool have told Jurgen Klopp that they will give him all the money from the sale of Philippe Coutinho.

The same 'Mirror' article confirms that the Anfield club is prepared to sell its star for 130 million pounds, about 150 million euros, as reported by Mondo Deportivo last Wednesday. The English newspaper also reports that the first thing Liverpool will do with the money for the sale of Coutinho will be to strengthen its defense with Southampton center-back Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool have a pressing need to shore up their defense after some erratic displays that have seen the club lose pace in the race for the title. Southampton will demand £70 million for the Dutch defender but, if Liverpool gives a Coutinho sale the green light it will trigger an immediate move for Van Dijk, and there will still be cash to use on other ways to replace the Brazilian star.

In the same information, reference is also made to the pact that Liverpool owners agreed with Coutinho which will let him out in January if Barça made an reasonable offer for him.
