Liverpool midfielder emerges as Juve’s no.1 alternative if they miss out on N’Zonzi
The Serie A champions do not want to match the player’s € 40 million release clause but Sevilla could be open to sell the Frenchman for a lower transfer fee and that’s why N’Zonzi remains the Old Lady’s priority target to strengthen her midfield. Juve are hopeful that an agreement can be reached for € 30-32 million.
According to Tuttosport, however, should Juventus fail to seal the transfer of the 28-year-old, the Champions League finalists would pounce on Liverpool’s Emre Can who has yet to sign a contract extension with Liverpool. The Germany International has 12 months left in his contract with the Reds and he would become Juventus’ top target if they fail to sign N’Zonzi.
