Liverpool prepare £ 20m bid to sign Celtic star Dembele
The 20-year-old French striker is having a stunning campaign with the Scottish Premier League giants having netted 17 goals in 27 games in all competitions, including a brace against Manchester City in Champions League and a hat-trick against Rangers Glasgow.
According to glasgowlive, Jurgen Klopp is going to offer Celtic £ 10 million plus £ 10 million in add-ons as well as a £ 60k-a-week contract. Dembele’s contract with Celtic expires in June 2020 and the promising French striker’s current salary is set to £ 15k-a-week.
Trouble is, Celtic are in no rush to sell the exciting hit-man as they are aware of the interest of all the best European clubs that have been scouting Dembele since the beginning of the campaign. The Hoops’ boss Brendan Rodgers, however, has recently claimed that the striker is destined to leave Celtic sooner or later.
