Liverpool rival Barca, Real for €180m starlet

Liverpool are in regular contact with Kylian M’Bappe, according to reports from the Echo.

The Monaco star is believed to have handed in a transfer request to Monaco, a club he scored 26 goals for last season, enough to attract interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool are reported to have “kept tabs” on the 18-year-old, who is coming off a strong, 26-goal season.

M’Bappe is allegedly raw at Monaco’s inability to provide him with a satisfactory deal, despite his key Champions League goals against Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.

Valued at around €180 million, the teenage star is being considered by Barcelona as a replacement for Neymar.

In fact, a report from this morning indicated that the Catalans saw the Frenchman as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

M’Bappe looked like he didn’t want to leave this season, something emphasized by his previous rejections of Real Madrid when he was a youth player, the focus being on playing regular football, and not be a benchwarmer with a big club.
