Loftus-Cheek injured, Sarri was right about useless friendly game in the USA
Chelsea recently took on the New England Revolution in the USA in a charity game as Maurizio Sarri wasn't very pleased about this. To make things even worse, Ruben Loftus-Cheek picked up a pretty severe injury as he will be out for a long period of time. Loftus-Cheek tore his achilles during this game as he was seen on crutches afterwards. The England midfielder went under the knife today as he will now be missing Chelsea Europa league Final against Arsenal as well as England's Nations league finals games in Portugal this coming summer.
MAURIZIO SARRI AGAINST IT FROM THE START - Maurizio Sarri was against this friendly game from the start considering the blues still have a Europa league final game to be played against the gunners. The Italian coach was probably right as Chelsea will now have to do without Loftus-Cheek who was having a very solid season for the blues indeed. This is a big blow for Sarri and Chelsea.
