Lucas Leiva: 'I don't feel 100 percent fit nowadays'

Lazio star Lucas Leiva has said that while he does not feel a 100 percent nowadays, he still keeps on playing for the biancocelesti.

Lucas joined Lazio from Liverpool in the summer of 2017 for a fee of 5 million euros, following a 10-year-long stay at Anfield. So far this season, the Brazilian has appeared 11 times in the Serie A, assisting once.

He was recently talking to LaLazioSiamomoi about his physical condition at this point and he revealed that he does not feel completely fit and 100 percent these days, but it is normal.

He said: "Let's say that now I do not feel 100%, but this is normal ... After a lot of time in the pits it's difficult to find the rhythm right away.

"But physically I have no more problems, this is important. And it is quite right."

He also admitted that he is loving Rome and loves playing for Lazio. He said: "I feel great, since the first day they made me feel at home, Lazio is a healthy environment to work in. The city is beautiful and the climate is pure, of course, in any work experience you can experience moments of highs and lows."
