Luis Enrique could leave Roma at the end of the current season and replace Pep Guardiola at Barcelona.

This is the rumour coming from elEconomista.es, which claims the former Barcelona B boss could return to the Nou Camp if Guardiola was to quit his job.

According to the Spanish website, a clause in his contract with Roma would allow Luis Enrique to leave the Olimpico only for a Barcelona call.

However, he is not the only manager who could replace Guardiola as the Catalans are also looking at Ernesto Valverde, Wenger and Bielsa.

    Napoli on Giroud

Napoli director Bigon told L’Equipe today that the Azzurri are following Montpellier striker Giroud.

“We have been watching him because he is a good player,” the Azzurri DS said.

Bigon was in Paris to watch the player live last weekend and Napoli are expected to make a move within the next few months.

    Suarez who?

According to reports in Sicily, Palermo have shown interest in Suarez. But rather than Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, Sicilian journalists believe the Rosanero are following Atletico Madrid’s Mario Suarez.

President Maurizio Zamparini was somehow surprised by these rumours and told the Press: “I have no idea, I don’t even know who this player is!”. Still in Palermo, they still think Zamparini maybe bluffing…

    Ramirez never Viola

Ahead of the Serie A clash between Bologna and Fiorentina, Rossoblu Vice-President Maurizio Setti claimed that the Viola wasted a good chance to sign their star-man Ramirez.

“Last summer Fiorentina were strongly interested and offered us a lot of money,” revealed Setti.

“But it wasn’t enough because Ramirez is a fuoriclasse. I think the Viola had their chance but now Ramirez has improved even further and deserves a top club which can afford to spend big money so I believe the Ramirez-Fiorentina deal will never go ahead.”

Juventus, Milan and Inter are reportedly all following his progress in Serie A.
