Lyon chairman reveals he shot down €40m offer for Lacazette

The Ligue 1 superstar looks set to move to a prestigious European league, having scored hatfuls of goals for Olympique Lyonnais.
And yet the Gones' chairman has made it very clear that the -year-old is priceless, so much so that he claims to have shot down a €40 million offer from Premier League upstarts West Ham.
“We've turned down a number of offers for Alexandre, the latest a €40 million bid from West Ham,” Jean-Michel Aulas told Le Progres “I don't want to end up like Monaco last season, when they were forced to sell Martial mere days before the end of the transfer window”.
“We don't want to keep Lacazette here against his will, it'll be up to him to decide”.
“We'll evaluate any new offers, if any are made”.
