Manchester City have shown interest in Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The Italian player has had a difficult season in San Siro and has a €15M price tag.

According to Itasportpress, the Nerazzurri are unwilling to negotiate the departure of the defender.

But Roberto Mancini seems determined to bring the Italian international to the Premier League.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini revealed the sheiks interested in the club have decided to stop negotiations following his ban due to transfer irregularities.

“Following my suspension, the Arabs sent me an email saying they no longer want to negotiate until my position has been cleared,” explained Zamparini.

“This is the damage Italian football has caused me,” concluded the President.
