Man United plan quick new offer for Morata

Manchester United are planning to make a brand new offer for Real Madrid player Alvaro Morata, and in sharpish fashion. This is according to reports emerging from Spanish publication AS, who also say that a deal could be thrashed out and sealed in the next 72 hours.

In order to make the transfer progress, the Red Devils will be making a substantial offer very soon, with the fee suggest of being around the £70m mark for the player’s services.

Man United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be wanting to be pushing things along, with his squad flying out to the USA this Sunday. The Portuguese manager is wanting a lot of his deals done before then, including that of 24-year-old Morata.

According to previous reports in Spain, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has agreed to sell Morata to Manchester United for a fee close to £ 70 million.

The Spaniard did not feature much for Real last season, but he was still prolific enough to net 20 goals throughout the whole season. It would be a great deal for Man United, who are now without a highly-rated striker, following Zlatan Ibrahimović’s release earlier this year.
