Man United willing to spend £170 million for Neymar

Now the rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo to Man United have died downwith the Portuguese, as expectedpledging his allegiance back to Real Madrid, a new transfer report has occurred in reputable Spanish publication Diario Gol via the Daily Express stating that mega-spenders Man United are looking to Barcelona’s Neymar to fill the hole left by Zlatan Ibrahimovićfollowing the Swedish strikers release from the north-west club.

Barcelona have set a release clause on Neymar of £170m, but given today’s football climate, that figure does not seem as hefty as when it was set several years ago.
The club who spend £89m to bring Paul Pogba, a player who left for Serie A side Juventus some years before, in to the club last season to mount a serious title challenge, are now looking at 25-year-old Brazilian international Neymar as a considerable option in what would be a pivotal season for Jose Mourinho.

It is thoughtthough, that Neymar would only be interested in a move away from the Nou Camp should the wages match the mammoth size transfer sum. But with Man United willing to bring the world’s best players to ensure another trophy winning season, a transfer could be on the cards.
