    Manchester City block Zabaleta’s transfer to AS Roma

    Manchester City could block Zabaleta’s transfer to AS Roma, Italian radio station Retesport has reported. Sources close to the player have revealed that the Premier League giants are not open to sell the Argentinean right back who has already an agreement with the Olimpico outfit.

    AS Roma have made an offer of € 4 million to Manchester City and if the English club will decide that the player is not for sale, Sabatini would make an attempt to sign Bruno Peres or Davide Zappacosta from Torino.

    Roberto Mancini is also interested in bringing Zabaleta to Inter after having worked with the player at the Etihad Stadium during his time as Manchester City boss. Good relations between the player and the manager could be key to see Zabaleta joining Inter. Provided that the nerazzurri offer would make a proposal superior to € 4 million.

    Zabaleta played 22 games with Manchester City last term, registering just one assist.
