The hunter has become the prey. Barcelona are finding themselves surround by sharks looking to poach one of their young, blossoming stars. Usually, it’s the other way around.

Jose Arnaiz, Barcelona’s budding 22 year old, has opened eyes across Europe, and now seems to be inspiring admirers to open their checkbooks for him.

Manchester United and Arsenal have joined a crowded field of clubs looking to poach the left-winger from Nou Camp. After having received, and rejected, bids from Real Madrid, Juventus, and Napoli, Arnaiz is now in the sights of the two English clubs, and Bayern Munich.

At the moment, Arnáiz’s release clause is affordable for any major team - €20 million, but will become €40 million when he makes the definitive leap from Barcelona B to the first team.

Currently starting with the B team, he made his senior team debut on Tuesday, playing all 90 minutes and scoring a goal in Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Real Murica in the Copa del Rey.
