Manchester United, Mourinho is happy with the point but...
Manchester United played against Liverpool earlier today as both teams had to settle for a point each. Here is what United coach José Mourinho had to say to the English press after the game: "Liverpool did well today but we played our game too. In the first half we had a few really solid chances and we controlled the game pretty well. In the second half we did not do as well and I didn't have anyone to replace Matic with since we was very tired. I decided to make offensive switches since I wanted our attack to be more dynamic. Even so, we then lost energy and quality in the midfield so we weren't really much more advanced. It was hard today so for us this is a very positive result and we will gladly take the point and return to Manchester".
The Red devils are now second in the EPL as Manchester City came away with a huge 7-2 win versus Stoke. Guardiola's club now have a 2 point edge on Mourinho's club.
