Manchester United: Mourinho makes Villarreal star a case for his defence
Villarreal have opened the door for Manchester United to sign Eric Bailly after admitting they will not stand in the way of the player leaving. Reports over the weekend suggested United were in talks to sign Bailly, who would cost in the region £27.6million, as new manager Jose Mourinho aims to bolster his defence. Villarreal director Fernando Roig Negueroles has confirmed interest in the Ivory Coast defender, and says the club would be willing to do a deal.
