The new season has begun as Manchester United have been very good so far as the same can be said of Napoli in the Italian Serie A. Mourinho's club are joint first in the EPL standings (with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City) where as Sarri's Napoli are currently first in the Italian Serie A as they have a 2 point advantage on both Juventus and Inter Milan. Dries Mertens had a fantastic season last year for Napoli as he scored many goals. He has started off this new season the same way he finished last season: by scoring goals. 

MANCHESTER UNITED'S INTEREST - The Red devils like him a lot as Mourinho has been closely following him. According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are pondering the possibility to pay his 30 million euros release clause as he might be ready for a new experience, especially if Napoli fail to win the league title this year. It is unlikely that De Laurentiis' club let him go in January but as we said, a summer 2018 move might be possible even if he will be 31 years old by then ....
