Maradona released from hospital: 'I'm fine, you worried for no reason'

It was a night of great fear in Argentina for Diego Armando Maradona. The football legend was hospitalized in Buenos Aires for a gastric haemorrhage and kept everyone in great apprehension. Today, however, important assurances have arrived through the Facebook page of the former attacker.

Maradona was hospitalized in the Olivos clinic in Argentina and the bleeding was due to one of the two bypasses that were implanted in the past but has now been discharged. The Argentinian will soon return to training Mexican side Dorados.

"I want to thank you for the messages of encouragement. I am sorry that you worried for no reason, I want to tell you that nothing happened, that I am well and today I am taking care of my grandchildren Benja, Dieguito and Matias and my son Diego Fernando. A kiss to everyone," Maradona wrote.
