Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio arrived back in Italy tonight after their trip to Nanjing to meet the owner of the club Zhang Jindong along with coach Antonio Conte. The CEO spoke to the journalists at the airport upon his return to Milano.

"All positive. If we reassured Conte on the transfer market? For sure. Satisfaction with how things are going? You can see Conte's work. We are very happy. There is still work to be done but there is a lot of optimism. Conte calmer after the meeting? Yes, yes, absolutely yes," Marotta said.
